Salsa and Tapas

Postby Field Marshall Shug » Wed Dec 13, 2006 11:40 pm

I was at Favela. The Tapas was nicely priced and there were lots of people there who looked like they were from Spain or Argentina. The age group and mix of men to women was also good.

Cafe Andaluz is a regular haunt of mine in Edinburgh and Glasgow . Food is always top notch. Black pudding, goats cheese and the sea bass are wonderful.

Felonious Munk is a Friday night regular at Velvet Elvis. He restocks the juke box on occasion.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

I should have mentioned the jukebox Dex, it is indeed a sounds sensation.Best i've encountered since Spider used to put the one together downstairs at the Bell Geordie many moons ago.Theres a fabulous pub in Manchester called TV21 that has the best jukebox selection i've ever encountered(sorry off topic!).

Yeah Pintxo does great tapas, nice wee bar counter too.

Recommend it over Velvet Elvis where the food is a bit disappointing and the service ultra slow.
