The Lab off Buchanan Street has a beer garden which also reveals the entrance to what looks like a realators office, so you can have a few drinks and then keep accidentaly walking into an office and buying a house instead of going downstairs to the lavys.

Update on the beer garden front - I was in West this afternoon (the microbrewery place next to Templeton's on Glasgow Green). It had a beer garden area outside, which looks as though it could be very nice in warmer weather.

In the west end, Firebird and the Goat have seats outside now, as does the Lismore. The new French place at the bottom of Byres Road has seats and tables outside, looking very continental indeed, tho I don't know whether Glaswegian men will live up to the Parisian image Cafe Francais are going for!

Chain-smoking Gitanes and commenting on the female passers-by?

Not a beer garden as such, but had a couple of pints sitting outside Linen 1906 in Shawlands yesterday. Tis a fine spot for people watching.

Bar Buddha is nice in the summer, plenty of seats very relaxing just watching the world going by. Was slightly worried seeing the numbers of nurses from the vic drinking there still in uniform hope they had just finished their shift. 8O

Lock 27 on the Canal at Anniesland. We had a good we night there on 19/03/09 played some guitar banjer and had a wee sing. All good fun til it got too cold to stay in tune for any length of time and until the local Ned element heard we were there and decided we should play Coldplay songs.
But all in all a good wee spot.
