Pubs I've not had a drink in, but wish I had

Thought about this on the bus along Sauchiehall St today. There's maybe a night out in this: the one that I saw was the Variety. Lovely outside, but inside? Never been in

Sadly this applies to almost every pub in Glasgow for me, especially in these winter months where I walk past them in the cold dark evenings after a hard days work, where they look so warm and inviting. However, I am walking back to my van to head home

hunners required in most pubs these days[sadly].average price of a pint seems to be around the three quid mark.im hardly ever in a pub these days but im within walking distance of a pint of stella 4 for £2.25 or a tennents for £2.50 if i choose to go out.

How is Stella cheaper than pish …... sorry, Tennents? Makes no sense to me. (I don't drink either of them, before you ask …not any more!)

think the last time i was in the V it was £3.80 for a strongbow.

youd expect that in a club but not in what was an olde student dump.

boxer6,its not the full strength stella its four% abv and its in a brewery pub.the tennents is from a social club.
