The Calton Bar

Postby floorman_11 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 10:03 pm

While my family and I were on holiday in Glasgow ( we're from Canada), my son and I stopped for a pint in the Calton. We were treated very well and had a great time! I met a fellow there who is in the same trade as I am( floor covering installation). We had a great chat and I was educated as to the different qualities of various draught beers. I wish I could remember his name! Anyway, a big thanks to the chaps in the Calton, and I will be back! Cheers!

Good to hear of tourists/visitors visiting a hostelry outside the city centre and the west end.

The east end has many bars worth visiting, they just need to be publicised better.
