Where was that sign meant to be in the film?

Cumbernauld is not anywhere near 25miles to Edinburgh and far closer to Glasgow.

Yes it's right at the end of the film - it is of course a fictional roadsign which is why the distances are out.

of its time i suppose.i always find that this sort of stuff dates quite quickly and folk tire of it.fast forward thirty years and they hanker for its return.i liked some of it,thank you for the link.
