Looks like Church Hill / School Wynd in Paisley, looking from the High Street.

Yep, in Paisley, i'll bow to AMcD's location info, I don't know the area well.
I was there the other day, but my camera decided to puke, so didn't get any more photos :(

:)

A lovely wee area, almost a separate world from the rest of Paisley in the same way as Garnethill in Glasgow City Centre.

Must have the highest ratio of churches per square mile of anywhere in the world, albeit most of them now disused. Almost any denomination you can think of, and a Gaelic Chapel too.

I think there have been renovation grants being offered for the area, because a lot of the derelict properties at the foot of the other roads up from High Street have recently been rescued from dereliction.

And for any of you nostalgic for Paisley Student's Union just over the hill from this photo, it has now been converted into six town houses.

Greetz,
A darkish snap of the dead end street to the left off Shettleston Road (heading East) just after the Westmuir St junction and before
Shettleston Rd splits at the Sausage Factory....might've been a continuation of Muiryfauld Drive prior to junction alterations?
