Just noticed that Taggart on ITV3 at 2200 tonight features the Garden Festival. Thought I'd post in case anybody fancied catching it :)

That is very true. About six weeks ago I wandered along to the Barras with a mate and it was dead and completely 'mutated' from when I was younger - on a Saturday afternoon. Watching the old Taggart episodes really is like a snapshot of the past. Don't know what you got til it's gone right enough...

I found my Garden Festival Quick Guide. It brings back so many memories of a sunny day many years ago when I had a happy day out with the first great love of my life. Hold back the memories.

Is it just my imagination or where summers better in the 1980's (sunnier and warmer, unlike today 14/06/07 a nice winters day)
Did anybody see any celebrities at the Garden Festival? I saw Chris Tarrant filming some sort of TV program,I think the program was betting related?

Yup!

It's a well known fact, the 1980s were 50% sunnier.
Malcolm Tucker is always right.
