Strange and wonderful things don't just happen in this City (Glasgow) they happen on this board too. Sometimes a single, seemingly senseless post comes in and can make such a difference to those reading. The poster none the wiser that their contributions have had a dramatic effect. Sorry to go off tangent here but I know of someone who recently read some posts on here and thankfully they were positive posts, which made a positive impact on her life just at a very crucial time!

I thought with the mention of Nicholson St and The College someone would be telling me what this building, is/was.

Hi this is the old British Linen Bank, a lovely building.

Someone asked me, only yesterday afternoon, if I knew who the statute was?

Anyone know?

I found these photos in my work.

I put one of these pictures on another thread here's the full lot, this threads more appropriate.
It's a triptich of 3 etchings, each sheet being about 4 foot long if I remember rightly.
The lot are shown together, then each panel closer up. I can put up details if anyone's interested. They were done about 5 years ago, so some buildings
have disapeared/changed.
