Not sure where to stick this but here seems as good as anywhere;

The old Larkfield bus garage at the bottom of Victoria road. I pass by here occasionally and I have been following its ongoing demolition.

I dont think the concrete office block will be there much longer so I will try and upload a pic once it goes.

Three recent E-bay purchases. The first is on Possil Rd heading towards the Round Toll, 10th July 1955; the second is, I think, on Gallowgate just before Parkhead Cross, 14th Febraury1960 and the third ,taken on 7th February 1960, I don't know - possibly Gallowgate again. Any ideas?

Durachdan,

Eddy

Hi CB, the 29 didn't go along Dalmarnock Rd. - just had a wee check of the route here:http://www.semple.biz/glasgow/gct%20tram%20routes2.shtml

Durachdan,

Eddy

i totally bow to your tram knowledge, Eddy! :) but im resonably sure that is Dalmarnock Rd, the wall on the left was still there up until ~2014 (can be seen in Google StreetView timeline) with the little cobbled lane and Esso garage still there today, these two views show a bit closer to the viaduct, note the tenement on the right with the rooftop drying green and the heavy chimney evidence on the tenements on the left

were trams ever diverted? might be the reason the picture was taken *shrugs* :)

I bow to your "heavy chimney evidence" here CB. I checked again and note that the 29 was indeed re-routed along Dalmarnock Rd. from time to time.
