I'm guessing at 1980/81 for the Follies. Open guide puts it at circa 1986. Glasgow Story says 1982.

Panama Jacks was on the north side of the Clyde, by the suspension bridge, and it later became the Trading Post.
Can't vouch for the Devils Advocate, but I think that it was next door to Panama Jacks.
There is/was a Devils Advocate pub/restaurant across from the back entrance of the Sheriff Court.

Coronation street on the two 14" CRT TVs, McEwan's Export and Younger' special on draft. It's a semi horse shoe bar with an old gantry and a pleasant atmosphere. Wooden floor and planty of tables and chairs to accommodate a paty of HGrs.
I also visited McSorleys. Quiz night with seven punters and a lap top DJ and little heating . A good selection of draft lager and an optimo soundtrack.
The Quarter gill had one punter and a barman of the old school.
Who's up for a beer at the Imperial in Howard street?
