It's certainly an interesting trip - I'm not sure how far I got, but at least up to Alexandra Parade I think. Some old maps show the stream plit in two, which matches what I found.

The burn is exposed for a short section next to the Great Eastern Hotel on Duke Street - I got in there...

Aye, it's accessable all the way up to Alexandra Parade (I think) and down to the High Court, though it gets a bit low where it goes under the underground rail line from Central. The Camlachie Burn joins it, and I followed the Camlachie until I got bored - about Bridgeton railway station I think.

No - it's not a sewer, unless there's a flood or something and the sewers overflow - it had clear water running through it.
