Hi,
I'm researching a photographic project of Cowcaddens to Queen's Cross from 1955-65. I need photos of the Round Toll to Queen's Cross itself, particularly of shops, pubs, Whitbread's brewery etc. Anything: links, suggestions, photos would be gratefully accepted.

Eddy, you could also try <www.TheGlasgowStory.com> and <www.scran.ac.uk>, both of which have large numbers of digitised photographs. TheGlasgowStory also has short articles on various aspects of the city, which might be useful for giving you some background to the area in former times. Hope this helps.
Best wishes, Ronnie

Eddy are you still around and looking for material on Queens Cross, Whitbread Brewery etc? I've found another possible source for you if you're still interested
