I couldnt see a dedicated thread and I thought there were too many pictures of interest to add them to other threads.

About 3 weeks ago I finally took up the offer from the transport and model conservator at the Glasgow museums resource centre for a guided tour of the building.

The following pictures are some of the many I took on the 2hour wander around the collections.

Being a transport guy we ran out of time to get a look around the paintings store but the things we did get to see meant I left a happy chappy.

I hope you like the pictures and if you want to see more then head over to my flickr page.

Just a pity that they wont rotate the displays. We gave them a speedway bike, which was displayed next to a vintage speedway bike at the Kelvin Hall. They refuse to show it, or return it, at the new museum.
