Motman - I've got a favour to ask. I'm doing an OU design course, and we've got to do a "then and now" activity using a picture of a place we know well.
I get the underground from Cowcaddens every day, so it would be the perfect choice. Also, as this module is about city planning and design, I think it would be a great indicator of accelerated change imposed on a city centre. First, could I use your picture for my project? I will give you full credit, and copyright remains with you even when I post it on our (closed) student site.
Secondly, if I were to take a picture of how it is today, where would be the best place to stand to be closest to where the original was taken? I wasn't born til 1980 so I can't remember old Cowcaddens at all, and I can't really recognise any landmarks. Thank, in advance. Cracking pictures
