An excellent set, I grew up in Kendal for 20 years (btw it's the River Kent, not Trent) and it's nice to see some areas of Cumbria I haven't seen myself!

Hebden Bridge and the Handmade Parade 2011
The handmade parade for 2011 had Feast as it theme, so all participants had to design, create and build/sew their own costumes based around the theme. This is now in its 4th year, and has more of a mardi gras style of appearance than a usual walk and wave parade

I hadn't seen this thread before - shame on me.

Some lovely shots in here tobester, more than one of which has caused some happy reminiscences! Sorry you won't be posting more. :(

I always liked these pics, probably from places I'll never get to.

As my mother said "Don't play with the big boys if you're gonna come greeting to me."

You are the main reason why im pissed off, just cos the poorer mods are scared of you, i dont accept that youre bullying is acceptable, and its about time you got dealt with you wee arsehole.

As for working with the public, the vast majority are ok, but when u meet an arsehole they are arseholes of the big degree, as are dealing with office workers who are bullied at work and try to bully us on their way home

Dexter St. Clair wrote:You're leaving because Josef misunderstood what you were saying and did not apologise quickly enough. Could you point out my part in that conversation?

Nothing to do with that, as i said i posted in a different thread helping out and got ripped for being demeaning to people, so why help, in that one there wasnt but have been others including insulting people who i recommended this site too, and made me look stupid for doing so

Dexter St. Clair wrote:Now if you're serious why don't you change the settings on your Flickr account rather than ask Sharon to wipe the thread. Something you will probably regret along with me and your fellow HGrs when you come out of your huff.

Rather have the thread locked than piss around with my flickr settings and affect other sites/groups, there are people on here who i have no problems with and will still try to help, but thats cos theyre good guys/gals (so i dont get accused of being sexist)

Dexter St. Clair wrote:Other than that could I recommend Glasgow Guide as the online equivalent of The Springfield Retirement Castle. They too will appreciate your photographic skills.

Maybe they can supply a free stenna stair lift and years supply of viagra upon joining
