Hello everybody,my name is Hugh Munro,this is new to me,my brother Joe from Pollok introduced me to this site,I think it's great,brings back a lot of memories,I remenber The Old Eagle Inn near St Enoch's Square,in the late 1950'salso some of the characters there,one in particular was Conrad Jordan(think I'm right in the spelling)often wonder what became of these guys,also Gerry O'Rielly,we worked together in Fairfield Shipbuilding in Govan as apprentice Shipwrights,Gerry lived in the Springburn area ,I think, I'd be grateful if anybody can throw light on any of the above ,would love to hear from anybody.Shug

Hi Shug, I'm just a wee bit young to remember what you're on about, but welcome anyway.
As a wee aside, you should post stuff like that on the Introduce yourself forum to start with.
