Cheers Peetabix :D

I'd not have known it was the zoo if you hadn't said, OF. Great stuff, nice captures of that crisp wintry stuff!

Here's a few more from earlier this year...

St Giles' High Kirk pipe organ:

Just outside the same place:

And again:

Scott Monument and Princes Street and all that jazz. Man, I miss the summer  :

I thought it was us Weegies who had the reputation for these culinary crimes, but at least we don't advertise them in lurid neon outside our chippies!

Sadly no! I've never felt the urge, but I did do the auld bit deep-fried pizza in Dundee in the mid-eighties. (Must've knocked a couple of years off my life-expectancy, but I liked them  )

Was past yesterday, it looks a bit worse for wear:

Not a great photo, but hey. It's kind of disastrous actually - Kushi's was ok for a meal, but the Liquid Rooms below was great for a small to middling gig. Seeing the Magic Band there 2 years ago was my highlight. Another nail in the coffin of Edinburgh's shabby excuse for a live music scene...

I'm afraid so. No Captain Beefheart, but Drumbo did fine vocals, and some drums. Looking Googlewise, it was early 2004. And they played the Arches that summer, just to piss you off a bit more. Expected a so-so thing, but they were great

I really hope they come back...

You are obviously more up-to-date than me. Might even read the book sometime as it feels like the end of an era.

I now have a spare copy as a christmas gift.

That was three months ago, Dex.

Bring it along to the next night out.
