The site does have security, but not 24 hour gaurded... who would pay the £200 odd a day?

They have a company that checks it about once a day.... maybe... if they can be arsed

I did a cover shift on the Tannson site over the road, which has finished now... scorching hot afternoon.... and where the cabins were, was a large puddle of water which had been inhabited by some nice wildlife including, what looked like, a heron!

How could I forget. They always said that if we hadnt won WW2 we'd all be speaking German. Looks like there was an understanding of it in Linwood.

Why is Enema "Verboten" :?: I do so love HG, the land of many smiles. Did you children have the chance to experience the "Carpark in the Sky"?

I used to work in the gearbox line at the back of that shed, what a hell hole of a place, only lasted about 8 weeks then moved on. Home of the original Hillman Imp.

My father worked for most of his life for Chrysler, spent
time down in Rootes, Nuneaton. Got married and worked
in Linwood till it was squished.... :x Very vivid memories
as a kid of the closure and how it afftected folks.

Remember something he was talking about last week about
Pressed Steel and how they made either the entire thing
or parts for the
