Posted: Thu Jun 18, 2015 2:49 pmGreat photos. One of the shuttles was plonked down in Gorky Park next to the Moskva River for a few years (I took this pic in 1994), but even as a "tourist attraction" it had an abandoned, abject feel.

Except he did nothing of the sort. This was a permission visit to a part of the still very active Cosmodrome, and it has been popping up on various Russian forums for years now.
