When I lived in Cairneyhill 30??????......how many........years ago I used to see these stones in the passing. Haven't been able to find out anything about them since and was wondering if anybody on here could shed some light on them

Been googling Cairneyhill stones all this time. Now I've finally got a hit I've discovered the correct name for the stones and now there's tons of info.

For future reference, I would recommend both The Megalithic Portal's and The Modern Antiquarian's Google Earth placemark files.

Grahame thank you for the links, I stumbled on the Megalithic Portal this morning. I'll thoroughly check both sites before asking a similar question again.

Simon.
