highly unlikely though! :(
Is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bughunt?

It isn't filled in.

A trunk water main runs through the tunnel and I understand it is still used/accessed for inspection/maintenance purposes when necessary.

Useful, I note that the boarding and tiling leaves much to be desired so a public jolly down there would require some remedial works and/or the signing of health and safety waivers.

I remember walking through the pedestrian tunnel from KP to Finnieston in the early 1980s. I remember how steep the descent - and ascent was, a hand rail on the right hand side - or maybe both sides. I remember how small the thing was - quite suffocating if you were afflicted that way.

In his younger days my Pop got banned from the rotunda tunnel. He used it for training and he'd run back and forth in his training kit complete with rucksack full of bricks and working boots using the stairs as a heart quickener at lap start and finish.

The tunnel watchman eventually got so sick of his size ten 'clump-clump-clump' tempo he ended up telling him to get to buggery before he called the boys in blue.
I like him ... He says "Okie Dokie!"
