I haven't read all of this thread except the first post or two, but I get the train every day and the sooner they get the automatic gates like they have at Queen Street the better. They have far too many people on the barriers and they all stand around blethering. You're lucky if they even acknowled...

I love the canal. I spent my high-school years cycling and fishing on it around Bishopbriggs/Cadder. I got a bike for Christmas having not had one for well over a decade and it's great to be back out there. I cycled from the city centre to my parents house last weekend along the canal and it's good ...

This looks really interesting. I passed there on Saturday, on the other side of the river, so I'll need to venture over to the other side soon to see what's there.

Peckhams has a special license until midnight or something. Off-sales attached to pubs can sell to 11pm, I think.

As someone who hates the city centre and all the shops in it, this is a nightmare.

I can vouch for Photobox.

Not tried Loxley, but always thought I should. I used to take my colour films up there to develop, until they decided that they weren't going to open on Saturdays anymore.
