Indeed it is, banjo. Bobby Clark,the present proprietor, bought The Tavern from the Roberts which means it has had only 2 owners in about 50 years! Continuity is one of the hallmarks of a well run pub.

Ah Millport! My grandparents visited for years and my family would join them for part of the summer.They retired there in 1966.(still shiver when I type that date for some reason) What followed was 8 boyhood summers of fun, then 74-77, 4 summers working in The Tavern Bar run then by Farquhar and Bet...
