Hi folks, thought I'd update in case anyone was browsing curiously. Found an old gasworks site thanks to a very helpful council employee and went out with the ground investigation team and a JCB. Don't think I can mention much more but I Found some very nasty stuff that "might've" been mig...

I hope its just a seasonal attraction closing up for winter.
I cant say I'd be too eager to climb all the way up there with the autumn winds!

Awk well. I'll just have to make do with the odd trip through to Edinburgh...

Theres a jazz weekend in my wee local pub in September. It'll just be local guys playing I'd imagine. But is there any excuse needed to sample live music and some real ale in the best pub in Lanarkshire!
