Sir Roger DeLodgerley wrote:Wasn't the supposition in the book comprehensively de-bunked by Tony Robinson on C4 recently?

There's a program on the Discovery Channel on Friday (10th June) for those with sky/cable tv. It says that it's presented by Tony Robinson. Probably the same one?

I'll be watching. 8O

The DaVinci Code

I've just finished reading this book. Best book I've ever read, and that includes my wee sisters 1982 Bunty Annual! Regardless of your views, it really does raise some interesting questions on the validity of the bible. Friends opinions who have read the book range from Blasphamy (spelling?) to disb...

Very nice shots. You seem to have an eye for a photo opportunity that I can't quite seem to find :(

The lighting in the first picture is fantastic, as is the dusk one at Cowcaddens.

Good work trailstar.

Bingo club manager. Good points: I don't start work until Midday. That's it! Bad points: I don't finish work until 10.30. I work every weekend. And worst of all, I get chatted up by pensioners. Why do they think that I would find an drunk 80 year old who smells of pish attractive? Don't they know th...

Although it's not as good as it used to be. I remember it being a lot cheesier when I was a wee boy.

I used to live in Ayr and there was a blind couple who used to busk quite regularly there.
When I moved back up, I used to see them in Sauchiehall Street, just outside Boots.
They were really good, but I haven't seen them in a few years. :(

Did you download RealPlayer from it's own website or from bbc.co.uk? The reason I ask, is because of advertising rules, the version from bbc.co.uk is effectively a cut down version. I don't know all the differences but I had the same problem as you. When I downloaded the bbc version, my problems wit...

Just wanted to say hello. I joined the site in late July, and I've had a great time looking through the forums. I especially like the old/new pictures, although it's makes you cringe when you see some of the great buildings that we've lost over the years. Looking forward to spending a lot of time on...
