Re: Links to funny, cool or interesting stuff

Neither one comes out of that well, but the band sound like cock-ends. Maybe they'd prefer a pay-to-play system?

Re: abandoned/derelict locations?

There's tons of stuff on here (on the site's front page as well) and other websites about it. A wee search will do you good. Urban Exploration is what you want to look for.

Re: Is your Broadband shite?

I'm with SKY and getting 5.8 of my alleged 8. Was with BT beforehand and only got 3 out of the 8 .. which makes a nonsense of their whole "it depends on your distance from the exchange" as all the equipment is exactly the same. Throttle merchants. You'll be with SKY's partial or full LLU,...

Re: Permanently Banned ?

Ah, ok. This talk of people on NTL "sharing" IP addresses made me think people were describing the old way, where to websites you'd appear to have the address of the caching proxy. Not entirely sure what people are on about then. There's no other way they could (appear to) have the same IP...

Re: Permanently Banned ?

Ip bans are pointless, given the number of web proxies out there and the majority of IP leases being dynamic.

Are NTL still using those shite transparent proxies? Unbelievable.

So who's been in Central Station in the last week or so?

Is THIS the best film to be advertising repeatedly on their big screen?

Re: Not really interesting facts about yourself

Haha back in the days of chippable phones (for free credit) I dos'd my mate's phone by sending thousands of identical messages. His phone was unusable for days.

Re: What Are You Currently Reading

All Fun And Games Until Someone Loses An Eye - Christopher Brookmyre Was disappointed at first. It was pretty slow whereas the previous book of his, and the only book of his, that I've read - Quite Ugly One Morning - was brilliant from the start. I persevered though, and I'm glad I did. Shopped: The...

Re: lidl film bargains

Indeed, but I'm sure their films are more than a quid. :)

Anyway, all the Standard's good for is checking the sheriff court pages to seen who's in bother that you went to school with.

Re: lidl film bargains

Poundland Kilmarnock has tons, if your search wasn't fruitful. Kodak Color Plus, expiry 01/11. A bit out of your way, but there are plenty of them around.

Re: Computer Problems.

The speakers are plugged into the right bit, right? Soundcards these days have a ton of identical plugs. Colour coded but that's not much use if you're down behind a desk in low light.

What's it say in control panel/sounds and audio devices?

Can you slide that volume slider?

Re: The Pecuniary Salvation Thread.

Ideally we want to come up with some mischief we can do with 800 litres of fizzy water, at the top of a tower block, making the whole escapade even more efficient. I THINK you can, after inspecting the delivery, reject items you don't want. We could send back all but one bottle and the poor sod woul...

Re: The Pecuniary Salvation Thread.

I've always been tempted, if I somehow had more money than I knew what to do with, to do the following: 1 - Rent a flat at the top of the highest tower block in the city. Doesn't matter where, I won't be there for more than a few hours. Must have a fucked lift. 2 - Order 417 bottles of this: http://...
