Re: Derelict Mills in Johnstone

A few pics from 2005 before the demolition. I'm not as brave as Hollow Horn - I stayed outside the Heras fencing. Definitely didn't venture down to the riverside at the carpark. The jakeys were shouting and throwing imaginary frisbees at the sun. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2064/2387712233_782eab...

Re: St. Vincent Street-Milton Free Church.

The building is well worth a visit if you get the opportunity. The very early photo has a fantastic quality , the unsettling atmosphere of these first photographs. HH's excellent photos spurred me to dig out some that I took at the open day a few years ago. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2373/238844...

Re: Glasgow Central Station

Reviving this thread as I have searched but cannot find an obvious place to post. Pictures taken in the gap between Central Station and the Cat House club in Union Street. The difference in build quality is obvious. I would love to relate the location to the fantastic photographs showing the constru...

Re: Paddy's Market loses its licence

The council then plans to use the area to house council offices and to sub-let property to arts and business organisations. Just like the fishmarket?? Clueless twarts. Paddy's Market is an integral part of whatever Glasgow is. Latte in the arches? - no thanks! Where's the wee guy who sold used wome...

Re: Pollokshaws

The weather was pretty hellish.

I had a dose of reverse vertigo looking up at 12 Riverford as I imagined the scaffolding peeling off and crashing down onto my puny body - nowhere to escape.

Re: Pollokshaws

Sorry for the hot link. http://mrmoto.smugmug.com/photos/256417447_BiX46-L.jpg Pollokshaws was a bit different today. The green mesh on the scaffolding was mainly gone or blowing in the fierce breeze. The top poles of the scaffold were shaking and bits were flying all over the shop. And the big cran...

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hello Folks

Great site here , with a lot of effort.

Glad there are so many people out there with similar obsessions to me :)

Hopefully I have something to contribute - I have a few pictures kicking about which will maybe interest someone.
