Must've been someone official, as you'd need some big bolt cutters and a set of brass baws to get that badlad open.

Help placing 2 old photos (Scotstoun/Scotstounhill)

Can anyone help me to place this view, which is only titled "Scotstoun West"? I think it may be a view of Dumbarton Road, with the railway to the right of view. http://www.vistaimages.co.uk/catalog/images/scotstoun%20%20west.jpg Also, this photo is captioned "Anniesland Road, Scotstou...

I hired a car while mine was in the garage the other week, and the CD player swallowed my CD - which was a burned copy of an original I have in the house. Pricks at the hired car place said that this sort of thing is being introduced all over the show. Cocks.

Essentially there is two models. The one you see on the internet (grey boxes) and a highly detailed photorealistic model. The high detail model needs a number of high end graphics machines working together to produce the images that have been posted on the BBC and GCC websites. I very much doubt yo...

Can anyone get this to work as advertised? I can zoom 'roon the toon like a drunk pigeon no probs but all the buildings are just grey boxes. The photo-realistic rendering with 5mm detail as advertised in the report just doesn't happen! Same here. This is all I'm getting when I zoom into the Central...

I remember the Diamonds used to play/train at the Scotstoun Showgrounds (the "Shoggies") when I was younger. The place is featured in this video.

Fucking dire video, nonetheless.

St Matthew's School, William Street

St Matthew's School, William Street I was in the Anderson area this afternoon and noticed these lintels which have been absorbed into the grounds of the William Street Clinic (just opposite the now infamous St Patrick's Church): http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b204/timchilli/stmasc1.gif http://i2...

Found this: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b204/timchilli/TGSE01057.jpg St Peter's Parish Church, Oswald Street. The church hall was built in 1836 as a chapel of ease. The parish was erected in 1853 as St Peter's Church quoad sacra (ie; an independent parish for church purposes only, without tein...

Thanks again, GK.

Jesus, what a travesty. Suppose I shouldn't really be surprised though - our elected officials have always wanted to dispose of the old to usher in the new. C*nts.
