just found out that the half of the old GPO building that hasnt been converted/built yet belongs to Stephan King the club owner of the Social and Arkaos etc.

a nicely worded letter to them could prove to be fruitful if we could ckeck out the basements etc.

where was the underground room jim? my mates girlfriends sister works for the land services dept for the council, i could get her to check if there were any old buildings down there for you if you want. she's done it for us before. useful contact :wink:

i've heard about that tunnel as well. would seem a good idea to have a direct link from the train station to the post office i suppose, but it cant be very long at all.

there an old quarry with long tunnels leading off it up at mugdock country park. up on the hill side theres 3 large air vents for the mines below if your interested. :D tunnel-tastic!
