Re: White Swan Pub, East End?

Leading on from the above post what about the Bristol Bar on Duke Street. Apparently it was once called the White Horse.

How about these. Don't know where the first is from, the second is from a shop in Aberfeldy.

Re: Gangs of Glasgow

http://glasgowgangs.freewebspace.com/custom2.html The above link supposedly names all glasgow gangs. I'm sure I've heard of the Redskins as being more a late 19th/early 20th century gang with a roll of hundreds. So I guess this list is a past and present. I love the variation in Calton - Real Calton...

Just noticed this thread. Here are my shaky pictures I took of the Lunar Eclipse in March from the corner of Albion St and Trongate...you may have seen me there, staring at the sky, slightly drunk. Well i ask you, what kind of geek takes a camera to a club! Enjoy. http://good-times.webshots.com/phot...

Doors Open Day and others.

Folks.

These are my efforts http://community.webshots.com/user/papalazarou75
from a not very busy (on my part) Doors Open Weekend. The wife and myself managed to get to Martyr's School, Glasgow Cathedral, Park Circus Registry Offices.
Other folders are also available for your pleasure.
Enjoy!

Here is my band's myspace site. The majority of photies were taken by Hilly's (bassist) dad. And as with a previous post, it seems to be the drummers that are posting these pics. I'm the one behind the red kit!

What will happen if Glasgow are unsuccessful in their Commonwealth bid? Does the land get sold to the highest bidder? What has hap...

Albion Street...
Ashton Lane/Cresswell Lane...
Rottenrow...(think there are some showing where the road is pot-holed).

I also recently drove over a large pot hole (can't think where!) where the cobbles underneath were exposed.

Recently had my chimney swept and while up in the attic space my wife found an old copy of the Record from Saturday October 2nd 1965 - front page Jim Baxter's wife expecting a child - inside advert for the Sunday Mail astrologist Eva Petralengo claiming that, shock horror the Beatles will split up!!...

Crossrail/Extended Underground

So what would people prefer?
What do you think will be the ultimate option voted for by the people with the money?

Personally I would have both - why must we always be the followers instead of the leaders when it comes to solving public transport/congestion problems?
