Re: Buskers / Street Performers

Leo Mushet (forty something eternal raver, bleached hair, specs, neon gloves, dances in a robo-rave style to every busker that catches his eye) remains the current king of the crop. Re: Roman Glasgow/Cathures

Archaeologists started investigating a site known as Crutherland Cave, Calderglen, in early 1990s after a stone frieze of Mithras and the bull was found there but it may have been part of stolen property, planked, from the burglarly of a Northern Ireland stately home in the 1990s. Full story here: h...

Glasgow Film Festival 2014

Did anyone have any clue that, among a slew of famous names, cult directors Roger Christian and Terry Gilliam were in Glasgow to promote their films? No? Me neither!

Re: Glasgow Zoo

Site clearly being prepped for development now but one fact remains. Generations of ordinary people have memories and history in a place that once truly belonged to the people of Glasgow. Inside Abandoned Goldberg's/Weisfeld Building, Merchant City

These are some quaintly haunting and joyous photographs - placed by the photographer on flickr - of the interior of the building in which traces of the old Goldberg store can be seen under the veneer of what was Weisfeld's: http://www.flickr.com/photos/flickrphotos/sets/72157594186399824
