It was about 25 years ago It was a Sunday It was I think about Easter time The Glasgow area Necular sirens sounded for about 2 mins I was living in Mount Florida area at the time. The two police boxes in the area both had large sirens fitted and as far as I can rember the local Schools had one on on...

I hope they dont employ the same firm that did the last demolition in the Gorbals. I think 150 yards is a bit close to stand next to a building that is being blown up.The poor woman that was killed did't stand a chance. :( ...........Although I have just thought of a cure for Glasgows Ned problem......

Gorbals high flats light show

I have passed the high flats in Cumberland Street twice this week at night. they have been empty for months,for redevelopment.First every light in the building was on and tonight the lights were all flashing in a running line up and down the whole building.It was amazing 20 floors of light display. ...
