Yeah, I got some close-ups of the flags, too, but I liked the long shot to contrast it with the all-encompassing bleakness 8) Deus Ex truly is a superb game. Occasionally I get the urge to reinstall it and play through it again. There are some pretty inventive ways of playing it. You should check ou...

I have all the photos in that size; the last one would be smaller but I forgot to resize it. If you want any larger images, throw me a PM with your email address and I'd be happy to send the full size pictures to you. I'm going to take more pictures of the demolition work on Monday if it's any furth...

You should try working there; see how bleak and empty you feel after your first week ::): Predictable flippancy aside, during the summer months, it's actually not bad. The high flats are populated partially by foreigners (I think they're asylum seekers but I don't want to make that assumption) and t...

I work at "Cadogan Square", above the centre (and immediatley below Dalriada). Demolition is currently in progress; the construction workers have erected wooden dividers to segregate us office workers from the local residents, and the local residents from the demolition team. As such, it's...

Many a happy hour spent playing Ultimate Frisbee at Victoria Park on a Sunday afternoon when I was at Uni. Shame to see it go. Scotstoun is indeed a great facility, as Sharon says, but there's nothing quite like getting some mates together in the park for a quick kick/throwaround. The dear green pla...

I passed this place for the first time in August last year and have wondered about it on and off ever since. Is the "antiques" business still going? Terribly saddened to read that Mr. Barton's passed away, but at least his legacy of signs remains! This photo is taken from August 2005, just to add to...

Hi, As you can see, I've been registered (and lurking) for a while now, but only bothered posting today when I decided to add some photos. I went to Glasgow uni and thus lived in the city for a while, but I'm back in Greenock now. Still, I spend quite a lot of time in Glasgow and look forward to con...

Out and about

Sorry if photos of these places have been posted before, or if they are inappropriate, but I only looked at the first six pages or so of this thread before I decided to share these ones. My girlfriend and I took these photos in mid-August of this year. As you can see, all of them were taken outside ...
