time to clean up this site

having tried to see if anything was new and/or relevant....I find that your site has been taken over by a multitude of rubbish, most coming from the same author (or whomever)....
Time to get the head people out of their beds....and get this site cleaned up...

Re: Boredom Thread: What advert drives you insane?

8O It takes quite a bit of clarity when suffering the 'Peleton' advert with the viewer expected to believe that by stressing in front of a pre-programmed tablet with some 'poser' prancing on the screen......but lets take a step back to review this...! In order to even consider this TV advert.....1st...

Re: Darnley & Priesthill Area

I think he is indicating that being a resident of this area continuously since 1951, I have heard about 'bogiemen', killer clowns, and other associated 'phantom dark shapes' for many years, and ALL have been found to be gross exaggerations, by people usually loaded with medication. So the caustic co...

Re: Pollok old post office

8O Why don't you approach the people who 'run' the wedge, (that famous pink elephant), I am certain that because the 'community' as such cannot get access to it, as designed and funded for, must have some excess furniture and fittings that may be of help and assistance to a 'community group'....? :r...

Re: Mud Larking

Mud larking as a tourist attraction...? My understanding of london by-laws makes, what you call mudlarking ILLEGAL, and subject to criminal proceedings. In fact those few actual 'Mud Larks/Historical relic hunters", are licenced and very restricted as to where and what they can collect/find/dig...

Re: 1 Office Row Nitshill

8O try Alex Glass in these pages, as he has been doing research into the war memorial at Nitshill, so feeding back the way, should be able to trace soldiers addresses within the area........

Re: Renting out home during the Commonwealth Games

 is this the real reason behind the 'bedroom tax'....?
Rent out your 'so called' spare room space for £500 per week, and the Council cannot do a thing as you are only covering the extra
they are looking for....?
Wouldn't be long for Council officials to block that as well........!

Re: George Square - removal of statues - objections

8O Did not lodge any formal objections, as felt it would be futile within City Chambers, who, no doubt have their own ideas of what they want outside their windows.... However, much in reverse of what seems to be the majority opinion, I would move the lot to 'Monument Hill' above the cathedral, wher...

Re: Looking to get a 'vinyl' record collection appraised/sal

I have had the same problems with my vinyl,as all of my sounds are from the early to late 70's, I even took bundles of them to car boot sales, but refused to sell then for the 'coppers' they were offering..... Biggest eyeopener was by attending the regular Pop Memorabelia shows at the SECC, (normall...

Re: Negative scanners

I have an old but very reliable Epson Scanner GT7000. This has not been used for a few years, as I use a Mac, and this model of scanner's drivers stop at mac OS.X.10.3.9. Although I have a more modern Canoscan, the Epson was by far the best I ever used. This model also has the attachment for negativ...
