So glad I found this thread. Came across a postcard for sale on ebay of the exact scene. Like the other Dave, I had never been aware of the bandstand in Linn (lived Simshill from 1968). Well researched. Like the final merged pic. Assume you used Photoshop or similar but I can never get my head round...
