Re: American Style Diner/Bar

The only bars in Rutherglen that i remember having an american or cowboy type name were the New Orleans or the Stirrup bar, but then again i could be totally off the mark,:)

I dont have a single-end pic but i did find a painting a while back which looks kinda like the single end i used to live in all those years ago, now if only i can figure out how to add a pic ?????

However i may be mistaken on the location , it also reminds me of the street that goes from Charing Cross and turns right to take you up to the junction of Great Western Road , both streets are very similar in layout.

The picture cant be that old as the reg plate on the rear of the blue car is reflective yellow. I do know where it was taken , bottom of Byres road to the end of Argyle street at Partick Cross.
