Re: PK's travels..Nov 2011

Lake Tekapo in NZ southern Alps. The waters are turquoise in colour caused by glacier action grinding sandy stone whish produces a flour like substance that creates the effect. The skies here are so light polution free that there is an observatory nearby. At night all of the stars in the Southern he...

Transported to the cutting, and bolted together end to end to form the large ring section, then side to side to form the tunnel. Are you sure about that. When ...

Re: Kelvinhaugh Street - Car Showroom

Yrs ago I worked with an old Pattermaker from John Browns. He lived in the old tenement just next to the garage in Kelvinhaugh st. It is possible that he might have been one of the very last people in Glasgow to have gaslighting in his house. This could have been as last as the early 70s. He would s...

Re: Buses Today

Free travel must be handy for getting to BNP meetings. Must be something wrong right enough when one sticks up for the oldies here, then accused of being BNP. Too many in this country keep quiet and not voice their opinion lest we upset the limpwristed liberal luvvies and so-called do-gooders. I'm ...
