There was (is?) a video shop in Pollokshaws Road near a garage and bike shop. Was in there in the very early 80's and came across a Star Trek VHS that we didn't recognise the cover of, so got it. Stuck it in the player to be confronted by 'And now on BBC2..." - it was 3 episodes taped off the t...

Yup, nothing more than an interest in the local history. My Da's family are from Whiteinch and my Ma's side are from Thornliebank, via Shotts. They stay at Hogganfield now which, AFAIK, used to be rhubarb fields.
