Note that the bottom image shows a shaft (presumably with access to the tunnel) in Renfrew Lane - does anyone know if there is a ventilation cabinet there? I don't think anyone has ever mentioned in a post that there is one there. Had a walk by at Lunch. No vent cabinet, just the large concrete man...

This may be the tunnel that sparked the rumours in this thread on the forum. Extremely doubtful that it was built for that purpose though. :D

Cheers Toomsie, nice to get some facts. I knew the Glasgow underground exchange was abandoned after completion of few bore holes, mentioned here .
